We used to be club members here before and compare to other swim facilities JCC swim staff is well organized and friendly. My son attended JCC summer camp and took 1 month of group swim lessons and he loved it. However I never heard anything from both teachers or swim staff so there is always room to grow for better communication or any feedbacks. We will continue with the group swim lessons and maybe consider joining the swim team next year.

My kids and I joined APJCC about 2 weeks ago and are absolutely thrilled to be members. Carolina in membership was super amazing and had such patience with me while I asked a million questions regarding my kids and what they could do there. Since joining my family and I have to say that the employees are always so nice and willing to help and the trainers especially Melanie are just spectacular We absolutely love MelanieThe facility and fitness center are always clean well kept and never overcrowded. Even during high traffic times one can always find a machine outside. We have not tried swimming in the pool but I already have my daughter signed up for lessons. If the swim instructors are anything like the trainers I know it will be a huge successOverall this place is great and I highly recommend checking them out and meeting the fabulous folks there.

Such a bad weight room Gym for the price pretty ridiculous. Been coming here for years and it has been getting progressively worse. The gym closes at 7PM on weekends as well what a joke of a gym

Manager Bill and Teacher Sandy Baker are amazing Extremely helpful and were willing to set up virtual classes for me when I broke my foot and could not exercise drive or get to the gym. Sandy is extremely knowledgeable positive and truly cares about her pilates students. Highly recommend coming to APJCC and taking a class with her

The JCC membership is so much more than just a place to exercise. Its a gathering place for community family and individuals alike where a sense of belonging and friendliness persist. I appreciate the amenities spaciousness and attention to cleanliness at the gym. This great atmosphere is something I would almost like to keep a secret so others dont come and disrupt its special vibe.Visiting the JCC has consistently proven to be a rewarding experience as I have been exposed to new art exhibits cultural celebrations and unique community engagements that demonstrate its capabilities beyond gym facilities.

Lower end weights machines than I had hoped and there is much less equipment than I expected. On the up side its all new or will maintained. Just packing in variety and quality for that trade of. That makes it a toss up.Has town service and clean locker rooms as well as steam room and sauna. Sadly there is no hot tub in the locker room.So there is no gym in the area that has a safe hot tub for women duo gender hot tubs are ALWAYS occupied by gross old men who stare and make women feel very uncomfortable..Has outdoor pool 82 year round and outdoor soccer field which can also be used for running laps - 6x around the goal posts 1 mile.Price wise and for the equipment 24 Hour Fitness wins.Cleanliness JCC wins. Also if you want tennis soccer and social programs or need the gym too wash your shower town JCC wins.If you dont need those services well youll pay for them anyway.Locating if youre near downtown Los Gatos or in the Santa Cruz Mountains JCC is closer. For 24 Hour Fitness Id recommend the club on Almaden Rd in San Jose over the Hillsdale Ave in Los Gatos location.Notice that the Los Gatos club downtown next to the high school does NOT factor in. Its pricing is comparable to JcC but is facilities are awful. Their equipment is essentially the same line as JCC but very old. So is very maintained not high end. Locker rooms have had three same broken lockers and tagged out carpet for AT LEAST a decade. Their staff is true and think too highly of themselves. Their attitude is that they are Los Gatos so you should pay for the snobbish locating. Yet is one of the worst clubs Ive ever been to. Sure is location is perfect of you live down town or in the Santa Cruz Mountains. But thats it. Oh it does have a hint tub in the womens locker room. Its depressing but it has one. Thats really the only reason to join.Youll pay ridiculous fees for the privilege of their name. Sure they FINALLY are renovating or say they will. But they upped their price for you to use it based on promises. Theyshould renovate THEN raise the fees. Instead theyre ripping people off and have created a bad name for themselves aground town. Then probably eventually recover super because of location. But honestly with JCC fairly clue there is no reasonable excuse or reason to support the Los Gatos downtown club owners. If you can afford that price range definitely choose JCC over downtown LG Club. JCC much friendlier and offers more.If both are out of your price range or you need more equipment varietyquality choose 24 Hour Fitness. Though depending on which location you choose it may have more traffic and you might need to bring your own towel. Also 24 Hour Fitness membership can give you access to ALL locations world wide. And dozens just here in the bay area. Some are as bad as the Los Gatos Fitness Club. But some are even nice than JCC.Unfortunately jCC does not offer a limited membership giving access to just the workout rooms and locker rooms. with extras such as tennis pool activities at a lower price. But I guess that keeps the small gym less crowded and easier to maintain. Also maybe filters or less desirable members. Its would be too difficult and less friendly to have to monitor people once theyve gained access anyway.Overall I recommend JCC

Nice facilities. Front doorman could be a little more friendly. Had to walk thru the building to get to the soccer field in the back.

I have been an APJCC member for several years. I enjoy the programming and special events and am a big fan of the Wellness Center. The Center has all the equipment and classes I want. The place is not crowded and I am able to get on the equipment I want with no issues. The Center is clean and well maintained. I give high marks to the trainers massage staff and the recent locker roomshower upgrade.
