Kids Care Dental - Vacaville

Everyone there was so nice and patient. This was my daughters first checkup at the dentist and they showed her everything they were going to use and how it worked before doing her cleaning. I was amazed by how smooth her appointment went without fuss. Definitely would recommend taking your kids here for dental care

Horrible experience. This is a medical facility for children and Im shocked at how unprofessional this business is. I feel like I really dodged a bullet with my daughters health by not bringing her here.I had an appointment scheduled for 4pm. I then got a voicemail and 2 text messages that let me know that the appointment was changed from 4pm to 515. Fine no problem.I arrived at 510 to find their business completely closed and nobody answering the phone.I called the next day to find out what happened and got no apologies I spoke to 3 girls including the manager and none of them cared they blamed it in the doctor having to take the rest of the day off last minute and said my appointment should have been canceled. They couldnt explain how or why or who moved my appointment to 515.I wont be trusting my daughters medical care here.

Excellent staff. Our hygienist Val is the sweetest. And Dr. Katie is so gentle and kind. My son has been a patient of Kids Care Dental for more than 10 years. Wouldnt go anywhere else. Highly recommend

My son was scheduled for a routine cleaning. I received a call the day of the appointment to provide my insurance information when I returned the call I was u able to connect with anyone. When we arrived for the appointment the receptionist was rude and extremely unhelpful. I attempted to schedule the next routine appointment for my son and she stated she was unable to do so and that the dental assistant would schedule. In the end the receptionist was who scheduled us. The dental assistance were using profanity during my sons cleaning and when the dentist came to look at my sons teeth it was a quick short rude interaction. We will not be returning to Kids Care Dental and will ensure that our family and friends do not take their children here to endure the same disrespect.

Kids Care Dental has taken care of my children for several years both with complicated dental issues. Dr. Katie is truly wonderful at what she does. She listens to my concerns is so patient with my boys and provides realistic evidence-based advice.

I have never been charged for X-rays or cleanings with insurance those are always covered even outside of network However I just received a bill from our first visit a year ago which was just cleanings and X-rays but I owe 68 apparently and thats AFTER my insurance paid them. Just for cleaning and X-ray. And its been almost a year They are just now billing me 10 months later And I distinctly remember seeing a major deal on the window for your first visit and cleaning with them. But apparently that didnt apply to us. We went to another dentist when learning they dont do porcelain crowns. We only ever had one visit with them.

The actual office in Vacaville is ok. The issues are with corporate. They always mess up the billing and if you use insurance they will get that wrong too. You will start to get notifications via email and text messages with outstanding balances and all sorts of wrong information. When you try to call them you will be on hold for HOURS with a recording telling you to just pay your bill online and its easy and convenient.If you ask for a manger or a supervisor or basically anyone that has access to their billing system that has admin rights to look into the issue you will be told that there is no manager available. It doesnt matter what time of day or what day of the week you call you will get the same script. Then you will be told a manager will call you back. They wont ever call you back. As I write this review I have been on hold with corporate for over 3 hours.

Had a great first visit with my 6 year old daughter. The staff was friendly and did a great job putting my daughter at ease. They explained how the equipment would work and even let her touch what she could. Made sure I had lots of opportunities to share any concerns I had and took the time to go through each one as to why its something we will watch or why it was something I didnt need to worry about. That gave me a real peace of mind when I left. Felt heard understood and properly informed when I left.

We have had a great experience in the office with the dental assistants and orthodontist. However the scheduling and rescheduling of appointments is beyond difficult. Some of my sons appointments are 3 months apart because they have overbooked and not added in time for the orthodontist. They also have not been able to make any appointments after school which is very difficult for middle schoolers. Its frustrating to pay monthly for a service and not receive that service. Our family has decided to finish the care for my son at this office and take his 3 younger siblings to another orthodontist. Its a bummer because weve gone to this office for dental and orthodontic care for 7 years. You cannot call this office directly which means in an emergency which weve had the call center does not understand the emergency and will try to book you 7 weeks out. In an emergency to get care within a few days you must be persistent or go in and ask for an appointment.
