I am a born and raised Bay Area girl. I grew up in Pacifica where my family still lives. I stayed local for undergraduate and medical school but then did a complete 180 and moved from the beach to the desert! I recently moved back to the area from Phoenix, AZ where I did my residency. I have wanted to be a pediatrician ever since I can remember. It is a grea

This place is a joke I went to the emergency room because I had an acute goute attack this is after I had been there 3 nights before for the same thing. The emergency room staff in the triage area were just chitchatting about their weekend personal life etc. I waited more than 10 minutes at the check in kiosk before someone came out to get my information for the registration. She wrote it down on a piece of post it note asked me to take-a-seat then proceeded back to the triage area and started conversing again. After about 15 additional minutes I didnt hear back from anyone so I went up to the check in line and was told by the same person to please take a seat. They didnt offer me a wheelchair asked about my paid level nothing. I tried to tell her that I couldnt stand on my right foot and she just said we are checking people in based on priority I have no idea how the priority is assessed here not sure if they do either. Definitely not professional and staff care more about gossiping about their personal life than attending to the patient. Took almost an hour just to get registered for the ER visit mainly while the room was mostly empty. The fact that Im back here a few days later speaks to the incompetent of staff that work here and the service they provide. I requested to speak with someone that was in-charge a charge nurse showed up and said I understand youre not happy about the amount of time it took to be checked in. Her demeanor was very unprofessional she seemed upset to even be bothered that she was called. I simply asked her if she was interested in listening to what I wanted to see her she refused and left. Im not even sure how these people have a job not to mention in some sort of management position. Pathetic

My biggest complaints about this place is the parking and the signage on the buildings is either wrong or misleading. My other complaint is the quality of the toilet paper in the restrooms. They really arent saving money because you are using more paper where with a nice Charmin or Cottonelle . Bring your own TP or use the paper towels.

I would like to start off by thinking Kaiser and their staff.. I especially want to do a shout out to Dr. James In pediatrics... Brought my one month old baby in thought he was having seizures... James look them over. Gave him a good check up... And even call the expert the calm our fears. We real appreciate dr. James God bless him..

After reading some of the reviews about the Santa Rosa hospital I was really worried about the care my mom would be receiving as she was just admitted. Upon arriving I was met with some very nice gentleman that gave me directions to where my mom was. Upon getting to her floor I was met with some very kind people and as I was visiting my mother more kind people came in offered coffee or tea. Nothing could be further from the truth that this place is poorly run. Its super clean. Very very nice people. My mom had nothing but good things to say about how well the staff was taking care of her. Of course some of the testing needed was a little slow coming but theres going to be delays as theres only so much equipment and staff in any place. Doesnt matter where you go whether its a restaurant or auto repair etc. Its just the reality right now. Hopefully that improves in time.Anyways I thought they were doing an excellent job and I really appreciate it.Chuck.

Please treat children with kindness respect. X-ray tech from Santa Rosa Kelly suggested to leave my 5 yrs old alone in the lobby. I decline to leave my child by himself in the lobby she yelled across the hallway at me and my children that shes not our babysitter. she refused to help my 2 yrs old X-ray. Ultimately another tech did his X-ray. Thats ridiculous. Children are human too I will continue to advocate for my children.although many experts recommend waiting until around age 11. Henneman says that a childs awareness of some key safety rules is one of the best ways to decide when theyre ready. Heres a quote directly from their website yet their employee suggested to leave my child who is 5 yrs old alone.

They mix up patient info and dont fix the information when corrected. Theyve sent me patient information for someone i have no connection to for the past year and a half. Ive let them know over 7 times that they have the wrong number and Im not who they are looking for. Yet they continue to call me and message me patient info sometimes up to 3x a week. Its honestly really embarrassing for kaiser and I am at a loss for what to do.

No patient care at all. You have to show your ID every time you walk in and they would prefer their patients sit alone when scared before and after surgery as they wont let anyone in the room or in the waiting room. This is the worst place to get a procedure

Ive been under Kaiser here in Santa Rosa for 4 years and receive excellent care. I was in the ER and the hospital last week and everyone took care of me fast with excellent and thorough care. The infusion clinic nurses are fabulous and make a difficult situation easier and having the lab clinic and dr offices all integrated is an excellent system. After surgery a few years ago I also had a home health nurse that was essential to my healing. Thank you Kaiser

Avoid Kaiser at all costs. I had a family member in the hospital and is still getting care from Kaiser and it has been an awful experience. It has made a stressful situation an even more difficult process.

If I could give 0 stars I would Worst care ever provided by Kaiser in Santa Rosa. They dont return messages in a timely manner. Doctors dont call when you schedule an urgent tele appointment. Nobody follows through on your care. They are not proactive with your care at all There are never any available appts. You never get the same doctor. Your actual PCP never has time for you. Its been over a year since I saw my PCP. You just get passed around. Unacceptable
