The most unprofessional staffing agency I can think of. They rush you through onboarding to get you into a school. Then Recruiters tell you to go to a school and the school has never heard of you and is not expecting you Then when you call your recruiter they have no idea whats going on. They hire people that smoke meth on the job as well. Horrible agency.

Ive worked here at Maxim as a Behavior Technician since early October. Maxim provides quality care for both employees and clients. I LOVE working for this company. As an RBT they offer competitive pay Flexibility health insurance and sick pay. They also provide an awesome CPI training coming in as a new employee that really benefited me out in the field. Unlike most behavior companies Maxim is set apart from the rest because they provide a combination of respite services with behavior services. Great experience to if youre a Psych Major like me. Ive really enjoyed making an impact for the families while I working here. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for work as an RBT or if youre a person whos looking for services. Ive had a great experience so far working here

Maxim is a wonderful company to work for. They are incredible receptive to my needs as a new graduate nurse. Their novice nurse program provides me with all the resources and support that I need to succeed at my job. Most of the time someone is available if you have any problems or concerns. I recommend this company especially if you are a new graduate

Maxim has been such an amazing place to work. I was accepted into the Novice Nurse program as a new graduate RN. I learned so much from my instructor and really got to work closely with the head of my program. Everyone has been so helpful making sure Im 100 comfortable and supported. This is a team that I appreciate so much and I couldnt be more thankful to start my career as a nurse with this company.

Ive been employed with Maxim as a Home Care Nurse for 3 months now and I must say at first I was a bit hesitant because they havent had the best reputation in past years. I have found that they are very great office to work with. All recruiters and schedulers are very responsive and communication has been great. Whenever Ive reach out to clinical staff They have been extremely helpful. I give them a 5 stars

I have been working for Maxim Healthcare Services for almost 4 years. I held a position as a flu admin with the home health division and am now transitioning to become a Behavioral Therapist with the behavioral team. The staff provides amazing customer service and I have recommended friends to work for this company.

Such a great company to work for Very friendly and easy going company culture I worked for a few companies as a nurse and was paid higher than maxim but I was always at edge but this is the most supportive company I have worked for They are caring and compassionate. They care about their employees and give them full support at every step . The pay scale is average but the flexibility is great

My sister was employed with Maxim San Mateo years ago so I replied to an Indeed inquiry from Maxim Emeryville. As a newly graduated BSN RN since 2017 and certified PHN with a background in home health and hospice I was more inclined to engage in a work setting that allowed me to work with patients one on one. That being said when carving out a work plan everything desired does not always fall into your lap i.e. high pay job security etc... However with Maxim the pros and cons cancel each other out. The bonuses of working for Maxim are Weekly pay system versus the bi-monthly system that seems like you are being paid once a month Availability of continuous shifts and an hourly wage versus nursing visit rates and lengthy SOCs that cut the bottom line Fully supportive and friendly staff versus a curt and dismissive office communication style Meet and Greet opportunities that increase the likelihood of a successful nurse to client pairing Lower stress work environment.Maxims pay rate could be higher especially for nurses well trainedqualified and paired with high acuity homebound patients. But a benefit package is available and all applicable overtime is automatic--no quibbling over hours. Also no strong-arm tactics or manipulations to guilt you into working on a case that is not a good fit.This post was long but I hope helpful. Do not go through Maxim. Regional Center will tell you they are the biggest but frankly dont be fooled. They dont have the staff to handle recruiting. There is a 1 recruiter for the non-medical side. The staff will give you a lot of positives but after almost a month they have not been able to find a care give for a Monday - Friday 6 hours a day shift. Worse though is they dont care about the impact they have on you and your life. My son requires the care and so without a care giver I cant even work. But Maxim could care less. Please please please please save yourself the heart ache dont use Maxim.
